How safe is ordering online?
Ordering from eBooksCheaper.com eBookstore is 100% safe. Your credit card and personal information is encrypted and protected on our secure server. Please email us if you have questions or need more information.
Do you sell/share my email address with other companies?
No! Your email address is used exclusively by eBooksCheaper to process your order and communicate with you. Additionally, we may occasionally notify you with special offers and promotions that may be of interest.
Ordering & Payment
Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
Yes. You will be emailed a Smart Receipt confirming the details of your order as your confirmation. Your receipt is sent to the email address you provide when you submit your order. You do not need to wait for your Smart Receipt to access your eBook.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Do I get charged state sales tax?
No. Individual states have independent laws in regards to tax on download electronic product.
Can I return an eBook?
eBooks are non-returnable. However, a student who drops the course can receive a refund by providing a signed drop/add notice from the school registrar. If technical problems prevent you from receiving your eBook and you need a refund, a credit will be issued to you if it is within two weeks from the date of your purchase.
What if I accidentally purchase the wrong book?
If you purchased the incorrect eBook you can request a credit. Email eBooksCheaper at info@eBooksCheaper.com and provide us with your order number for both the incorrect book and the correct book and a full credit will be issued.
Creating an Account
Why do I need to create an account?
Your account is necessary to create a storage location for your eBook file and your personalized notes and bookmarks to be stored. This location is called your eBookshelf.

Questions about eBook purchasing options
What is the difference between purchasing an eBook download or online viewing?
When you buy an eBook from eBooksCheaper.com you can buy access to your book through your personal computer’s hard drive (Digital Download). Purchasing the download option for your eBook is preferred if you always use the same computer and you have a very fast connection to the Internet. The features of an eBook download are:
– You will be able to download the eBook directly to your computer. It can only be opened from the computer to which it is downloaded. It can be copied or saved to another computer. You
will own the eBook for as long as you own the computer. Download times can be long, depending on your connection, and some files are very large.
– You will be able to interact with the eBook: text highlighting, making annotations, and setting bookmarks.
– You will be able to print your eBook more than once.
– You must install or have already installed the Adobe eBook Reader on your computer.
Can I print my eBook?
Yes. eBooks that are downloaded can be printed as you wish.

What is DOI?
In this site every chapter is assigned a DOI with the help of which you can access more information about that particular chapter by doing mouse-over the link For More Information available for every chapter under the ‘Choose a Topic’ section.
Is there any expiry period for viewing the eBooks?
How does one purchase an eBook?
- Browse and add to your Shopping Cart
- In ‘HVAC eBooks’, browse our eBook selections until you find a book you would like to purchase.
- Select the radio button. and click on Add To Cart. This will bring up the Shopping Cart page with your selection added to the shopping cart.
- To remove a book from your shopping cart, check the remove box and click on Re-Calculate.
- To continue to browse and shop for more eBooks, click on Continue Shopping.
- To proceed to the checkout, click on Checkout.
- Review the User Agreement and click on I Agree, which takes you to the Registration page. If you already are a member, type in your username and password to sign in. If not, click on Register in order to fill in the registration form.
- Once registered, you have the advantage of “any time” access to your online book purchases, which are securely archived in “My DTI.”
- An e-mail is sent to you with your Username and Password.
- Click on View Cart to go to the Shopping Cart page and if your shopping is over, click on Confirm Order.
- This will launch the Online Payment page where you can type your credit card details and click on Submit.
- Your purchases are securely archived in “My DTI.” You can access there the books you have purchased for online viewing, and browse through your account history.
- If you are an Institution or Organization interested in subscribing to our eBooks go to Subscription Info.
